On my way to the airport to leave Hong Kong and pretty excited. First stop is Mongolia and excited to get out into the open plains and away from the cramped city life. A friend of a friend, Amar, has helped me set up a few point on the tour of Mongolia and will be meetin my good friend Latyr there as well. Will be going to Huvsgul lake on the first morning to explore a little bit and then will be off to Kharkhorin, near the old capital of Karakorum.

I've always been fascinated with the old Mongol empire and the Golden Horde. Previously the closest I got was Inner Mongolia (technically China) so I am very excited to be headed to the real deal. I can't wait for the first step of the adventure.

On a side note, I'm 121kg at the moment. Goal is 100. Wonder how long it will take.
